In the YouTube app, tap Share on the Short, then Copy link. In a browser, copy the address — it looks like youtube.com/shorts/…
Paste it and pick a format
Paste the link above. MP3 is selected for audio; choose MP4 if you want the video.
Download the file
Press Download when the file is ready. It saves to your Downloads folder.
Getting the audio from a Short
Shorts use the same video IDs as regular YouTube videos, only with a different address: youtube.com/shorts/ followed by the ID. The converter recognises both kinds of link, so you can paste a Shorts link just as it comes from the Share button.
A Short often uses only part of a longer sound. The converter saves what is in the Short itself.
Shorts can be up to three minutes long, so conversions are quick and files are small: even the longest Short is under 8 MB as a 320 kbps MP3.
